Joe Davenport, co-founder of Pointer Management Company, and his son Ward Davenport, the company’s current managing director, are fully invested in their hometown of Chattanooga. Philanthropists who have dedicated resources to supporting the city’s cultural and educational charitable organizations, including the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, the Hunter Museum of American Art, the Tennessee Aquarium, and the Creative Discovery Museum, the duo were featured in the alumni magazine of their alma mater, Washington and Lee University.
